All AMOLED screen phones at one page: A complete guide

Introduction
Author's own blog: Irnovo
This article intends to cover three things: amoled screen technology review, current amoled screen phones on the market, and upcoming mobile phones with the same display type.
So, let us start with the brief review of amoled display technology and its comparison
with tft, led, and oled.
Thanks to the continuous efforts of researchers to provide us the top-notches every coming year, we have travelled countless distance in very short period from
cathode ray tube CRT type of displays to flexible displays. The real pick-me-up
for display technology was the development of transistor, which made possible thin
film transistor TFT displays. You experienced many phones with TFT displays. If
I am writing about amoled screen phones, it does not mean that TFT has become an
old or out-dated technology. Probably, you may be still using TFT screen phones
because these are not out of seen. Then we saw the evolution of LED, then OLED phones. Now AMOLED screen is beating other technologies.
Amoled screen vs. TFT and OLED
Amoled screen is Just OLED with active matrix. Yes, OLED is the acronym of organic light emitting diode but if it contains of active matrix, as a component of the screen then it becomes active matrix light emitting diode. I do not want to bother you by being technical because you may be interesting in the gadgets that have amoled display rather than the display structure itself. Nevertheless, I just want to clarify that there is something special in amoled display technology that is forcing the manufacturers to adopt it in most of the future devices.
The first and the foremost important thing is the battery life of phone. The big touch screens consume most part of a fully charged battery itself. With the use of active matrix, this new technology needs very less power to deliver more vivacious and full of life display.
Samsung is clearly leading the industry in this technology and actually more than 90 percent of the devices are from Samsung. Prototypes of rather big AMOLED have been shown at various Expos but no commercial preparation yet. Although, LG have produced 15 inch extremely thin amoled TV, but it is sold only in Korea.
· High refresh rates
· Low power consumption, I must say very low power consumption.
· Very thin displays
· Flexible displays for future by this technology.
· High contrast
· Wide viewing angle displays
Are some of the notable distinctions of this technology.
AMOLED displays may be hard to view in direct sunlight compared to LCD displays. However, Samsung’s Super AMOLED technology addresses this issue by reducing the size of gaps between layers of the screen.
AMOLED screen phones
Let’s move towards the phones with this technology. I have categorized all the phones into, available, upcoming, and rumored only phones. I am not going to stuff this page with all the properties of each phone because that will make this page a long one. Therefore, I have tried to give you a glimpse of the phone in terms of display type and size, internal memory (off course memory, in most cases, is easily expandable to 16 or 32 GB), camera and video properties, and operating system of the phone. I have provided external links for each phone to get detailed analysis of other properties.

Last but not least: Unbreakable and flexible Amoled displays.
Amoled technology is fully capable of delivering unbreakable and flexible screens. Actually, these kinds of screens have already been displayed at several expos. Samsung have almost poineered in this technology and, in the not-very-distant future, we can hope to have rollable and unbreakble displays commercially prepared for us.
